Information obligation according to the battery law

You bought a battery / battery or a battery -operated product from us. The lifespan of the battery is very long, but it has to be disposed of at some point. We therefore indicate the following in accordance with §18 Battery law:

End users are legally obliged not to dispose of batteries in household waste.

You can bring batteries to a suitable collection point and return it free of charge.

Old batteries may contain pollutants or heavy metals that can harm the environment and health. Batteries can be used again because they contain important raw materials such as iron, zinc, manganese or nickel.

Batteries and batteries that contain pollutants are characterized by the symbol of a thorough trash can and the chemical designation of the pollutant.

Battery network

The signs under the garbage cans stand for:

PB: Battery/battery contains lead

CD: battery/battery contains cadmium

HG: Battery/battery contains mercury
